With the start of a new school year, we’re talking through our strategies for dealing with little kid anxieties. How do we help our children work through their fears, whether well-founded or not? Do you ever offer a carrot (an ice cream sundae for a good job with immunizations) or a stick (no TV if you can’t get off to school without a fit) to get kids past something that scares them?
