Can people really change? Apparently so, with the help of a pretty amazing friend.
Once you have swastikas tattooed on your body, people might think you’re beyond the point of no return. But Tiffany Whittier, a black parole officer, didn’t see it that way.
Michael Kent was a member of a violent skinhead group when Tiffany was assigned as his parole officer. But what started as a relationship of obligation, turned into a life-changing friendship.
So how did Tiffany change Michael’s perspective? Michael put it best:
“If you got a strong support system, and you have people that believe in you in a positive way, you can change.”
Talk about the power of friendship.
